Just wishing that you'd love me,
Just wishing that you'd care,
Just wishing and wanting something,
That obviously isn't there.
Just hoping for a love
I've yearned to share with you.
Just hoping for those words,
to hear, "I love you too".
Just needing to feel wanted
To help me to survive,
Just needing you to love me,
In my sad and lonely life.
Without you, you see, I'm nothing.
You had brought joy into my heart.
I miss you, I need you, I love you...
...How could we grow apart?
