The Day I Stopped Believing

Every time I look in your eyes,
all I see is the past.
I see us holding hands,
laughing at each others stupid jokes,
and secretly kissing in the hall.

But then you look away,
and I remember how we ended.
I remember the yelling and screaming...
I remember you saying you never loved me.
And as I tried to keep us together,
you tore us apart.

And the day we broke up,
was the day my world exploded.
The day my heart broke.
And the day I stopped believing in love.
