With tear filled eyes

You left in the darkness
Like a thief in flight
The heart of a coward
Who would run not fight

No voice to speak
Or state a reason
Maybe your forever
Only lasts one season

Beautiful words without conviction
Sweet stories told in fiction
Dreams cast away,like pollen in wind
A heart left broken,trying to mend

Not important enough to say goodbye
Your love,your words ,all just lies
Moonlit nights,now just dreams
No vows of love,no song to sing

Someday when you lay down
