My Buttercup

You are my Buttercup,
My friend of eight years,

And when the day comes,
That you are no longer here,

I will still remember you,
Till the day I die,

You are my cat,
Who is always there,

My best friend till the end,
That will never change,

No other pet,
Rather cat or dog,

Will ever replace you,
In my heart,

You'll always be my favorite,
My little cat named Buttercup.
