My First Love

For me the sun shines all day long,
My heart is always light.
When you're around there's nothing wrong
You make my world so bright.
Your face I see each night I sleep.
Your voice I always hear.
When you're away I want to weep.
I always want you near.

I need you like we all need air,
Even more it seems.
In happiness we can share
All our lives, our dreams.
So if in anger we do part,
I just want you to know
If you go you'll take my heart
Because I love you so.
