I thought I felt a connection between us,
Cause everything you said or did
Always made me so happy to be around you.

I never wanted to leave your side,
Together I thought we'd always be.

But now I see that you never really loved me,
I was just their to take someones place,
You never really cared for me at all.

I can't believe all those nights I cried,
Cause I thought you were "the one."

I believed everything you said was true.
I trusted you with my heart, my soul, my life,
I gave it all to you, only to be torn apart.
