can make me feel so small,
and make me feel like no one
will catch me if I fall?

How is it that you
can treat me so unfairly?
I'm lost without you here;
my heart's surviving barely.

How is it that you
can act like you love me so,
but then you turn and leave me?
Dear God, I feel so low.

How is it that you
can pretend that you need me,
when all you need is her?
I'm locked and there is no key.

How is it that you
can drop me just like that?
You make me care about how I look;
You make me think I'm fat.

How is it that you
can have no problem lying?
To you I am nothing much;
you can't see that I'm dying.

How is it that you
can not know what you feel?
I'm trapped when you're confused;

How is it that you
can always play with my heart?
I'm the bull's eye on the board
and you're good at throwing the dart.

How is it that you
can trap me in this trance
why can't i see past you
instead of hopelessly waiting for romance.
