A lock but no key

by Sarah Christine

I have a heart that is locked,
but I cannot find the key.
Wont somebody please find it,
so I can be set free.
I have lips that are sealed
they are forever undone,
lips that aren't healed.
When will I find the one?
I have eyes that are blind,
no longer can I see.
Wont somebody please open them
by the love they show to me.
I have ears that cannot listen,
been told so many lies before.
I closed my mind
to unspoken softness,
I forever locked that door.
I have a heart that is locked,
and I want to find the key.
Wont you please search for it,
so you can set me free.
